amoebic parasites
Amoebiasis or amoebic dysentery occurrence is worldwide but highest in areas where sanitation is poor. Cases are most common in tropical areas where standards of hygiene are poor. Infection is less common in children under 5 years.
Humans are the natural reservoir of the parasite, and persons who have excreting cysts can be a source of infection for others. Infection occurs through ingestion of food or water contaminated with feces (stools) containing the infectious cycts. The parasites can also be transmitted sexually. (1)

I’ve been battling candida for about three months now. As soon as I found out what had been making me feel awful for weeks, I started the candida diet. I then started taking garlic (twice a day), and a mixture called Yeast Cleanse, which had tea tree oil, pau d’arco, caprylic acid, and something else in it that I don’t remember now. After a month of that, I switched to undecenoic acid, coconut oil, and pau d’arco tea (the coconut oil and tea twice a day, the acid whenever I ate). After a month of that, I’ve switched to black walnut and olive leaf extract, all the time on the candida diet. I’ve been taking probiotics right along, and I just started taking L-glutamine.
Here’s my problem: Nothing has changed. My symptoms are still here, I still feel like crap. I’m sure my immune system is decreasing. I’m hungry all the time, but when I eat something – just about anything – I immediately feel bloated and sick. I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I can’t afford to lose any weight at all.
I’m at my wit’s end. I don’t know what else to do, what “miracle cure” to try next. I’m tired of being afraid to eat, and I’m tired of being sick. Any advice at all would be helpful.

Get yourself an alternative doctor. However, my impression is that you might have an amoebic parasite. It is very common. It would also explain the fact that your symptoms started rather suddenly, over a course of several weeks. Sometimes probiotics makes an amoebic parasitic infection worse. So, since they don’t seem to be helping you, just stop taking them for now.
The bloating is a sign that you have a bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. That can happen if your small intestine is very irritated from perhaps something like parasites. This keeps the intestine from performing its cleansing wave, where most of the bacteria is removed. The small intestine is not supposed to have a lot of bacteria in it. When bacteria are present, they act on your undigested food and produce gas. You might want to go on the SCD diet. This diet will allow you to eat some more carbohydrates, but they are carbohydrates that can be easily digested. So, you get the carbohydrates rather than the bacteria, which are usually later in the small intestine.
Unfortunately, just eradicating the initial source of the problem (perhaps parasites) won’t be enough to totally cure the situation. You will need things to bring the inflammation down. Eg. Aloe vera, vitamins A, E, D, and K. (Don’t forget vitamin K2.) You will also need the SCD diet because just the presence of the bacteria in the small intestine will interfere with the body’s ability to remove them.
MSM is one of the things that will help you get rid of amoebic parasites. (Those that are mercury poisoned may not tolerate it.) If you try it, start with just a little bit, and let your body get used to it. PAW PAW is another substance that will help you get rid of amoebic parasites. There are also herbal preparations that are specifically formulated to remove these types of parasites. There are parasites that like bile. So, avoid that for now. Later, after you think the parasites are gone, try a bile supplement. That will help kill off the excess bacteria. Enteric coated peppermint oil and enteric coated oregano oil will help you kill off some of the excess bacteria.
