Candida Dairy Strain
I personally, believe that dairy kefir has more benefits for candida and
allergies, unless you have IgE anaphylactic reactions to dairy. The enzymes,
prebiotics, probiotics and nutrients in raw milk are additive above what
water kefir provides in (somewhat) lesser amounts. Dairy kefir has more
probiotics than water kefir. (1)
Foods to Avoid or Restrict if You Have Candida…
Restrict: Sugars, fruits, refined or processed grains, and milk (milk sugar
can trigger yeast proliferation)
Avoid: Mushrooms. All vinegars and the products containing vinegar. This
includes white vinegar, red wine vinegar, rice vinegar, and balsamic
vinegar, and any food made with vinegar, such as mayonnaise, commercial
salad dressing, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, BBQ sauce,
shrimp sauce, soy sauce, mustard, pickles, pickled vegetables, green olives,
relishes, horseradish, mincemeat, and chili sauce. It is possible to use raw
and unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Coffee, spices, sprouts, condiments,
seeds, and nuts should be used cautiously. They can grow mold quickly. (2)

I’ve heard there are different strains of candida just as there are
different strains of probiotics. I want to know if there is a different
strain of candida that reacts more to dairy foods than it does to plain
sugar. I can eat sugar all day long and not have any issues, but 20 min to
an hour after eating dairy foods, I experience a thin sticky yellowish
discharge that has an unpleasant odor rather like ammonia. I also get a lot
of mucus and congestion and symptoms similar to an asthma attack. After I
eat dairy, it takes about 2-3 days for the discharge to clear up. Every time
I eat dairy again, it’s back. I’ve been struggling with yeast for years but
none of the products kill this particular strain because this problem never
ends. I’m not looking for product recommendations because I’ve tried
everything on the market. I’m looking for information about this particular
problem. Thanks for your help.
Also, a friend was telling me about a strange problem she has. She thinks
she has vaginal parasites. When she wipes, she sees these very tiny
husk-like things, similar to the hulls on popcorn. When I told her about my
problems, she mentioned this. Does anyone know anything about it? She
suffers from PCOS like me and she’s heard that the cysts are actually
parasites attached to the ovaries and thinks this could be further proof.
Any info?

Milk is notorious for increasing the production of mucous. It is a “damp”
food from the prospective of Chinese medicine. You may want to use more
“drying” foods in your diet. As far as I’m aware, mucous formation from milk
ingestion is not associated with any one particular yeast or bacteria.
I’ve never heard of PCOS being linked to parasites, but anything is
possible. A couple of months ago, there was a rather long discussion on
PCOS. I happened to save some of that discussion, and will repeat part of it
here for you. It might be a bit confusing and long, but maybe some of it
will be of interest to you.
