Carb Intake
The bottom line is that carbohydrates are the body’s main source of energy. Carbohydrates are found in most foods except of meats, fats, and oils. A more moderate carb diet consisting of whole grains instead of refined grains is a safe and effective way to lose weight and get all the nutrition you need. If you’ve decided to watch your carb intake, know the difference between refined and unrefined carbohydrates. (1)

I was wondering how many carbs most people have? I’ve been avoiding sugar, but I have beans, brown rice, tortialla chips, and hummus. Is this bad? I also eat tons of fish, chicken, and veggies…
I’m just having a hard time giving up all the carbs.

I have found that I must stay away from all gultens. Carbs are vital to digest meat or protein. If you don’t eat carbs you could send your body in ketosis or unintentional Atkins diet. I did, it wasn’t fun.
Sugar is the biggest thing to stay away from.

I usually feel pretty good when I eat about 75 – 100 carbs a day – like Justin said, sugar is the worst as it is so easily absorbed into the system and feeds the yeast so quickly. If I go over that amount, I have symptoms (gas, etc).

Do you know your blood type?
If you are blood type o, you really should give up all grains whilst on the program, but get lots of carbs in your veggies. it really helps to know your blood type.
I’m on day 4 of a 60 day detox, no grains at all (I’m blood group o, non-secretor). I’m taking lots of supplements to keep me energised and well throughout it.
Good Luck.

Forgive if I am posting old things… anybody know anything about this product?

I’ve not heard of living grains before. However, the product does seem “over-sold”. This statement in their advertisement is obviously garbage: “This also makes them capable of sustaining and proliferating indefinitely in your intestinal tract.” Whatever food they were growing their bacteria on, it is not the same as the chime in the intestines.
They also over-sold the allicin on that page.

Thanks Polly. I find there are so many natural products that are so oversold by the websites… statements of efficacy that are seemingly based on the intuition of the writer, but they expect me to buy into the belief system that intuition is of greater value than knowledge. Or at least empirical knowledge… now I realize Einstein said imagination is greater than knowledge, but some of these people seem to have lots of imagination.

Does anyone here take oxygen?
When I do I feel full. The more I read the more I’m thinking that liquid oxygen will help cure candida.
I’ve been really good, no sugar, taking my supplements, etc. Die-off was done…but I still didn’t feel like I was at a good place.
Started sticking to my H202 and had die-off majorly.
I was like, “what the hell?” all I can think of is that the H202 got further down my intestines and killed more candida.
I’m haveing trouble deciding which to stick with H202, which is effective and tastes like crap, or liquid oxygen which I don’t know how effective it would be.
Any advice?
Thank You.

Sorry. I can’t help you here. I did notice that a liquid oxygen product that I tried seemed to help, but once I stopped it, there were no lasting benefits.
